Dr. Harjot Sandhu
Dr. Harjot Sandhu is proud to be born and raised in Calgary. Prior to attending dental school, he graduated with distinction from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology. He continued to the University of Saskatchewan to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Sandhu highly values community involvement and volunteering towards the greater good of society. This has driven him to hold various roles including cancer researcher at the McCaig Institute, literacy tutor at the Calgary Public Library, and volunteer emergency dentist in Saskatoon.
Similarly, a patient-centred approach sets the foundation for his work as a dentist. He firmly believes in building a relationship with patients and educating them along the way so they can make the best informed decisions regarding their oral health. In order to effectively do this, Dr. Sandhu strives to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field. Dr. Sandhu is certified to provide nitrous sedation for patients of all ages and oral sedation for those over 12 years old. His second language is Punjabi; he can fluently communicate in this language with patients in addition to English.
